Art Therapy

Art-making is a means of symbolic communication. Creating art can help you connect to the more unconscious and preverbal parts of your psyche that are difficult to put into words. It brings in an added dimension to deepen the work.

Basic art materials are provided. You can also bring in art materials that you’d like to work with. If you’ve made art at home, feel free to bring them into session. I encourage my clients to keep an art journal if possible.

No art-making experience or knowledge is required for art therapy.

Duration:

Usually 50 minutes.

Frequency:

Usually once or twice weekly.
