Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy can be undertaken on a short-term or long-term basis, depending on your needs. During the first three sessions, we will go through an assessment phase to determine if we are a good fit to work together.
Many people seek out psychotherapy to relieve psychological symptoms. Working from a depth perspective, I am interested in exploring the symptoms together with you and tracing it back to its fundamental expression or blockage.
Usually the more severe the symptoms, the more layers of patterns have been stacked one after the other. These patterns serve a function once but may no longer be useful. In the course of psychotherapy, a preferable mode of expression for the function can be worked out together.
Longer term psychotherapy is concerned with the authentic expression of your personality, balancing dichotomies and paradoxes such as ego and self, conscious and unconscious, anima and animus, etc. Essentially, it is an endeavour to reach an equilibrium within yourself against the vicissitudes of life.
